POSITION SUMMARY

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded. Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations. Supervise and train Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Personnel.

Located in Henderson, Nevada, near the exciting and diverse community of Las Vegas, ProCaps Laboratories is a large and rapidly growing manufacturer with approximately 350 employees that markets several hundred dietary supplement SKUs, along with an expanding line of functional foods (bars, packets, bottles, etc.)

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in accounting preferred
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Possess an intellectual curiosity and a passion to learn
• Dependability
• Must maintain respect for confidential information
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel
• Experience working with an ERP system is preferred

WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Monthly account and subledger reconciliations
• Prepare general journal entries
• P&L expense analysis
• AP/AR Processing as needed
• Maintain Prepaid Expenses
• Record and adjust accruals as needed
• Perform Month-end Ross closing
• Sales, Inventory and other Report
• Preliminary Financial Statements
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
