Planning Analyst

Located in Henderson, Nevada, near the exciting and diverse community of Las Vegas, ProCaps Laboratories is a large and rapidly growing manufacturer with approximately 350 employees that markets several hundred dietary supplement SKUs, along with an expanding line of functional foods (bars, packets, bottles, etc.)

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of equivalent work experience required
  • Significant supply chain experience in production planning, inventory management, manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, comfortable working with numbers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team player who can work collaboratively to get things done
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships across functional teams
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands

OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain Planning

  • Ensure on-time delivery to meet customers' required delivery dates.
  • Provide early warnings to functional groups when issues arise.
  • Review and analyze supply vs. demand gaps.
  • Identify problem areas, drive appropriate functional groups, and decide on the best course of action to meet targeted delivery dates.
  • Generate and communicate the weekly production schedule to the manufacturing group, and publish any changes.
  • Coordinate the resolution of escalated customer and specific product issues across functions.
  • Understand quality issues impacting supply and drive necessary actions.
  • Maintain the right inventory targets, within the desired product mix, while minimizing costs and inventory obsolescence.
  • Ensure the execution of new product releases and transitions on product reformulations.

Manufacturing Planning

  • Issue, manage, and track jobs in ROSS or PCLE (batch tickets and picks) for production orders and product development daily.
  • Reinforce and improve planning processes.
  • Contribute to system and process enhancements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
